Caryn Burstein

Caryn Burstein is the President and Founder of Arcterior Design, LLC, a premiere design firm that transforms ordinary to extraordinary by blending the dynamic elements of architectural concepts and interior design along with construction management services- the outcome is a total solution that enhances her clients' lifestyle.

Passionate about design and helping her clients achieve their ideal environment, Caryn is well-known for her creative and trustworthy expertise. Her award- winning work has been featured in numerous national publications,including Salon Interiors, Architectural Digest, Luxury Homes, Professional Builder, Traditional Home, Distinctive Kitchens, as well as other regional local magazines and newspapers. In addition, she has been published on the covers of several books including Spectacular Homes and Showcase of Interior Design II and III.

Caryn launched her first interior architectural design firm, CLB Designs, Inc., at the young age of 24, after graduating from the University of Missouri- Columbia with a B.S. in housing and environmental design and graduate study at Harvard University in architectural delineation. A testimony to her quality standards and dedicated service to clients,the majority of the firm's growth has come from referrals.

Following her entrepreneurial spirit and in search of world-class furnishings and accessories to complement her work, Caryn opened her own retail shop, Exclusives by CLB. She continued to extend her talents by designing her own innovative line of classic contemporary furniture through her business, Exclusives Furniture,LLC.

Caryn is a member of the Advisory Board for the University of Missouri, Columbia Architectural Studies Program. In spite of her busy schedule, she also enjoys giving back to her community as spokesperson for the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasia and volunteer for the Institute for Science and Health-Pancreatic Cancer and the American Diabetes Association. When Caryn is not designing,shopping or rearranging furniture in her stiletto heels, she is kicking off her shoes to relax with her dog, Rio, her two cats, Louie and Beau, to watch a good movie.
